Resurfaced is a creative print solutions provider that works specifically with non-conventional surfaces. They produce custom prints and limited edition print runs on a variety of materials such as wood, metal, tile, cork, glass, mirror and even cardboard.
Inspired by the tradition of the “Printer’s Mark”, a visual mark once common among print craftsmen, we created a logo and brand image that reinterpreted this historic device for contemporary application. In building their visual identity we wanted a logo that could identify the company but also serve as a vehicle to demonstrate their unique printing processes. Simple, bold and easily reproducible, the logo had to work in a wide range of ways – from a portal of different images to a simple stamp on the back of each original print.
