Fruitful Brand Naming and Brand Identity Design

To help raise both funds and awareness, Not Far From The Tree (NFFTT), entered into partnerships with five local processors, to be able to offer Torontonians a new way to experience the city’s local fruit – Community Backed Preserves.


Exclusively made from fruit picked by NFFTT, we named and designed a new brand for this initiative which we aptly labelled “Fruitful”. The design of the brand for this line of artisanally produced preserves was inspired by Italian food packaging of the 1950s and 60s  – a nod to Toronto’s European immigrants of that era who planted many of the fruit trees that continue to bear the fruit that is collected by NFFTT.
